Based in Melbourne, Julia is responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives and cultivating strong client partnerships at Salsa Digital.

Julia brings over 25 years of expertise in digital strategy, web development and business transformation. She works closely with government and enterprise clients to deliver innovative technology solutions that align with their strategic objectives. Julia also actively contributes to the Drupal community, serving as Chair of DrupalSouth and leading initiatives like the Splash Awards.

Previous experience

Julia has extensive experience in digital transformation and technology leadership. Prior to joining Salsa, she was Websites & Platforms Manager at the Australian Psychological Society, where she designed and facilitated the organisation's web transformation strategy. She previously served as Head of Delivery at Morpht, managing complex GovCMS projects for federal departments. Julia was also co-founder and CEO of Web Prophets, an award-winning digital agency which delivered both products & services.

Hobbies

Outside of work Julia enjoys good food; from growing, cooking to eating out with friends. She is currently growing her own vanilla orchid with the ambition of cultivating her own vanilla pods (6 years and still waiting).

Julia is an active volunteer including 15 years working on community projects with Rotary International including the creation of recipe books (Relish Recipes) and a record album (Local and Vocal) as fundraisers for local and international charities.

She's a proud pet parent to Luna the Malamute, and an annoying ginger cat named Otis.
