Based on the Sunshine Coast, Josh is a Technical Lead at Salsa, working across our client projects to build and shape digital platforms.
Josh splits his time between frontend and backend development, with a strong focus on Drupal and GovCMS work — writing PHP on the backend and turning designs into clean, accessible, responsive interfaces on the frontend. He also works with Vue.js, React and TypeScript when projects need richer frontend functionality. With more than 16 years in the industry, Josh also pitches in on architecture decisions and the harder technical challenges Salsa's team runs into.

Josh has over 17 years of experience as a full-stack developer, with a strong focus on Drupal and GovCMS government web platforms. Over that time, he has worked across a wide range of projects, from backend PHP development to frontend theming and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js and React.
Before joining Salsa, he worked at Annex, Psychwire, Youi Insurance and Tandem. Having worked in both digital agencies delivering client projects and at companies building their own SaaS products, Josh brings a perspective on both client delivery and long-term product development.
