Based in Adelaide, Kobus is one of Salsa’s technical leads, overseeing the design, development and deployment of Salsa’s Drupal projects.

Kobus provides technical authority on the design and implementation of projects, and will also be a champion of approaches (processes and tooling) that will deliver ‘fit-for-purpose’ results for Salsa’s clients.

Previous experience

Kobus has over 20 years of experience working in the tech industry. In his previous role, he was the Software Development Manager for Wunderman Thompson, leading a team of 6 technical leads and more than 22 developers. Some of his previous roles have included principal architect, technical lead and senior PHP developer.

As a seasoned technical lead with skills and experience in website development, Kobus excels at leading teams and delivering innovative solutions. He has a deep understanding of Drupal and a strong background in technical management, which enables him to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.

Kobus has experience managing hosting environments across a range of platforms, including Acquia, Rackspace and AWS. He has a deep passion for building Drupal applications and enjoys building appreciation programs as a hobby.

Hobbies

Kobus, his wife and three young children recently moved to Adelaide from South Africa. Outside work, they like getting out and about to explore playgrounds in and around Adelaide.
