Based in Sydney, Rose is one of our visual designers, working on the Salsa website and client projects.
Rose works on a range of client projects, providing design, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) expertise. For many of our larger projects, Rose runs the visual branding process, creative direction and provides custom graphics. She uses, builds and customises design systems, including Victoria’s Ripple Design and the Australian Government Design (DTA), to create new UI components that contribute back to the open design ecosystem.

Previous experience
Rose has over seven years’ digital design experience, with the past three years as a freelancer/contractor specialising in lean rapid prototyping methodology. She’s worked on large-scale projects for enterprise clients including BHP; Corrs Chambers and Westgarth; Coles; Transport for London; Unilever; and British Gas. Her design experience covers multiple sectors, including government, medical, health/fitness, finance, consumer and engineering. She also participated in the Young Social Pioneers Program , run by the Foundation of Young for young people working on her project in fashion sustainability and social change.

Fun facts
Rose runs a social-enterprise startup, Clothes Loop, focusing on stopping fashion waste and helping brands utilise the sharing economy, and received the 2019 Young Victorian Achievers for this work. She has spoken on numerous panels and occasionally lectures at RMIT University in sustainability & circular economies through the lens of service and UX design.
