Based in Perth, Jorge is responsible for managing Salsa's support services and leading our service desk operations to deliver exceptional client support.

Jorge brings over 20 years of experience in ICT delivery and operations, with deep expertise in open source technologies and digital transformation. He works closely with our support teams to implement and maintain robust service delivery frameworks while ensuring continuous improvement of our service management processes.

Previous experience

Jorge has extensive experience in technical leadership and digital transformation. Before joining Salsa, he was the Executive Manager (Applications) at WA Police Force, where he led the development of core mobility systems and enterprise integration platforms. He previously worked in the delivery of whole-of-government platforms at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet of WA and spent almost six years as the Head of Drupal at Doghouse Agency. Jorge has also been actively involved in the Drupal community as DrupalWA Community Manager.

Hobbies

When not working, Jorge enjoys exploring the outdoors on his road bike and spending early mornings climbing the Perth hills. He lives in Perth, Western Australia, with his wife and baby daughter.
