Based in Melbourne, Alan focuses on the creation of design assets and user experience (UX) development for Salsa products and our clients. Alan also guides and governs the creative team on all Salsa internal digital design projects.
Working closely with directors, engagement managers and developers, Alan works as our lead designer and major contributor to Salsa’s open source, government-grade, WCAG 2.1 AA compliant design system, . He works across both design and (UX) to improve the website experience.

Previous experience
Alan began his career in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. He’s held a variety of roles from marketing communications to product management and category buying. Before joining Salsa, Alan was the Business Development Manager for Master Craft Foods.
He has over 5 years' experience as a Senior UX Designer across government and industry, for both web and mobile applications, specialising in strategy, rapid interactive prototyping, customer research and beautifully detailed designs.

Alan is a co-founder of , technology that enables businesses to gain better control of their spending. The app enables users to take photos of their supplier invoices and instantly see what went up and down in price.
On any given weekend, you can catch Alan rooting for his kids' sporting teams, getting lost in the garden, or watching a movie.
