The details on this page represents the goal, activities, deliverables and resources for conducting a content mapping as part of a site migration project.

The content mapping is step 6 of a 24 step project delivery process Salsa has designed for migrating (or upgrading) sites from a legacy or proprietary CMS to Drupal 9.

Goal

Map all source CMS site content structures to Drupal 8/9 content structures

Activities

1. Offline mapping of all source CMS site content structures to target Drupal 9 content structures.

2. Workshop with stakeholder(s) / product owner to validate content mappings and discuss any amendments.

3. Document all content mappings.
