Overview

The details on this page represents the goal, activities, deliverables and resources for conducting a sprint planning as part of a site migration project.

The sprint planning is step 11 of a 24 step project delivery process Salsa has designed for migrating (or upgrading) sites from a legacy or proprietary CMS to Drupal 9.

Goal

Group stories into packages of work with consideration to priority, dependency and delivery capacity

Activities

1. Estimate stories from backlog

2. Identify key dependencies stories

3. Map out immediate sprint and model subsequent sprints based on developer capacity.

Deliverables

1. Product Owner assembles stories for next sprint from backlog

2. Project team has working model of backlog stories and story sprint assignment
