A Salsa tradition
Every year, Salsarians vote for the Salsa champion for that year. Each person can give one team member three points, one two points and one person one point. They can also leave a comment for each point allocation.
It’s always a lot of fun at the Christmas party, when the comments and points are read out, tallied and then the impressive cup is awarded!
Alan Cole takes home the cup
This year, Alan Cole is the Salsa champion, with 31 points. It’s a great victory for Alan, who’s been with Salsa for 13 years and hot on the heels of the cup winner every year!
Some of Alan’s three-point comments included:
Consistently great performer
You are, and continue to be, one of my very favourite people to work with: excellent quality work, forward-thinking, always helpful and always kind.
God I hope he finally becomes Salsa Champion of the Year. Because he’s worth it.
For remaining level headed in the face of any complexity, and providing the best possible outcomes for projects.
The runners up
This year, the runners up were last year’s winner Kate Swayne (18 points) and Paul Morriss (17 points).
Salsa’s 2023 champion, Kate Swayne, officially hands over the cup to Alan Cole!
