Steven Worley

Based in the Gold Coast, Steve sets the overall technical solution direction for each Salsa project and works with the internal team to deliver on the tech vision.

Part of Steve’s role includes liaising between engagement managers and the development team, making sure projects and people are well-resourced. He’s also on-call to troubleshoot any high-level issues that arise during site builds. Steve works remotely most of the time, but comes to Salsa’s Melbourne office for one week every month.

Previous experience

Steve has over 10 years’ experience building, leading and architecting open source web applications. He has an in-depth knowledge of Drupal, having worked as a senior technical architect at Acquia, and on a variety of Drupal projects. Steve’s Drupal experience covers both backend and frontend development, with significant experience migrating content and websites from other systems into Drupal, and expertise in frontend tools such as Vue.JS. Previous employers include Acquia, Flight Centre and Web Circle.
