Shivan Jaikaran

Based in Thailand, Shivan is a highly experienced Drupal tech lead and developer. He’s Salsa’s official Drupal/GovCMS trainer and also uses his Drupal skills in Salsa projects.

As Salsa’s Drupal trainer, Shivan runs our GovCMS and Drupal content administration and site builder courses.

He also works on Salsa projects, starting with CivicTheme. CivicTheme is an open source design system with a library of production-ready feature components.

Shivan’s expertise is across both backend and frontend development. As a backend developer he uses various languages and programs across databases and infrastructure to build/customise the Drupal content management system. As a frontend developer, he uses code to translate visual designs into webpage layouts.

Shivan also has vast experience in translating Drupal technical jargon for a non-technical audience. Combined with his development experience, this is a particularly powerful skill for conducting Drupal training.
