Salsa is thrilled to welcome Daniel Grynenko to the Salsa Digital team. Daniel is Salsa’s SDP community helpdesk agent.
As Salsa’s SDP community helpdesk agent, Daniel focuses on Victoria’s Single Digital (SDP) community. Working part-time, Daniel’s role includes Drupal contributions to enhance the SDP distribution. He also provides valuable helpdesk support, addressing client requests and queries for SDP sites efficiently and effectively.
About Daniel
Daniel is an aspiring software developer with a keen interest in technology and a background in Drupal development.
Before joining Salsa, Daniel worked part-time for two years as a quality assurance tester and junior Drupal developer at True CMS, a family-run business. During this time, Daniel honed his skills in applying security patches, functional and regression testing, and performing quality assurance testing for Drupal and Wordpress feature development.
Daniel is also currently undertaking an IT course at TAFE, and plans to pursue further studies in software development at University. At Salsa, Daniel’s goal is to become a proficient Drupal developer or QA specialist, expanding his expertise in backend development. His ultimate career aspiration is to become a software developer in the future.
Daniel also enjoys reading history, self-help, and comic books, as well as learning new languages and developing his technology skills.
Why Salsa?
Daniel had heard many positive things about Salsa and was drawn to our strong reputation. You may also notice that his surname sounds familiar? Daniel is Ivan Grynenko’s son. Ivan has worked for Salsa as a technical lead since 2018.
Daniel was also driven by his desire to expand his experience and knowledge with Drupal and open source. His role at Salsa will help him further develop these skills.

Daniel’s favourite thing about working at Salsa is our amazing team. “They’re always supportive and provide assistance whenever needed, which has helped create a motivating environment,” he said.
Daniel lives in Melbourne and recently had the opportunity to live in Europe for over a year.
