GovCMS and digital government
The recognition for celebrates work on a new front door for one of Australia’s most important whole-of-government digital platforms.
Delivered in close collaboration with government stakeholders, the project reflects what strong public sector digital delivery can look like: secure, accessible, scalable and built on open source foundations.
For Salsa, it’s also recognition of our long-running work with GovCMS and the role Drupal continues to play in supporting trusted government digital services.
Kids’ Corner wins impact
Kids’ was recognised as the Community Impact winner, celebrating a safe, accessible digital experience for children navigating Australian family law.
The project shows how thoughtful design, plain language and accessible Drupal delivery can support people during difficult times. In this case, that means helping children better understand family law processes in a way that is age-appropriate, reassuring and easier to use.
It’s meaningful work, and we’re proud to see it recognised.
Open source AI innovation
Salsa’s Context Control Center on was also recognised as Open Source runner-up for its work on context engineering for AI-driven experiences in Drupal.
AI Context is part of the broader Drupal AI Initiative, helping organisations provide structured, reusable and governed context for AI systems. In plain English: better inputs, better guardrails and more consistent AI outputs.
The recognition reflects the growing importance of open source AI tooling and the opportunity for Drupal to support practical, trustworthy AI experiences.
Recognition for collaborative work
These awards recognise more than individual projects. They reflect the combined effort of Salsa’s team, our clients, collaborators and the broader Drupal community.
Across GovCMS, Kids’ Corner and AI Context, the common thread is impact: better government platforms, more accessible community services and open source innovation that others can build on.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved.
