Policy for content management
The specific policy for content management covers four key recommendations:
“Avoid investment in new digital experience platform (DXP) tools until they have discussed with The Department of the procurement options and pricing available through the GovCMS .
Avoid investment in new, standalone solutions for the hosting and publishing of web content, until they have discussed with The Department of the capabilities and opportunities provides
Consider onboarding to the Whole-of-Government
Meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Level AA”
CivicTheme and GovCMS
is an open-source, WCAG-compliant, technology-agnostic design system, UI kit and Drupal theme. It can be used for ‘straight’ websites or websites. CivicTheme was also recommended by Sharyn Clarkson, the founder of GovCMS, during the September Drupal ACT Meetup.
You can adopt, adapt or customise the CivicTheme design system for your digital portfolio.
