Based in New South Wales, Jonathan delivers reliable cloud infrastructure solutions and system reliability engineering for Salsa's client projects.

Jonathan works closely with development teams to implement cloud migration strategies, IoT solutions and infrastructure automation. He helps ensure optimal system performance across client environments while maintaining high availability and security standards. His expertise in Azure, GCP and embedded systems enables him to deliver scalable solutions that meet complex enterprise requirements.

Previous experience

Jonathan has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. Before joining Salsa, he was Principal Consultant at Archaeologic Technology Services, where he led transformative projects in cloud migration and IoT solutions. He previously held roles as Senior Cloud Engineer at Coles Group and Platform Engineer at WooliesX, where he worked on significant cloud migration projects and DevOps initiatives. His career also includes experience with NSW Government and NSW Rural Fire Service, where he developed spatial information systems.

Hobbies

• Outside of work, Jonathan is an avid board game collector with over 250 games in his collection, some of them extremely rare. He enjoys strategy and simulation video games, and has a unique hobby of building synthesisers from scratch, having reversed many classic models. He lives in New South Wales with his two sons.
